Transfer Printing printing and transfer application processes

Screen printing is used to print the processing paper in a step-by-step manner for each required color (from two to a maximum 25 colors). Printed sheets are placed in the dryer oven, one-by-one. The sheet drying time for a single color is about 90 minutes.

The printed transfer paper is then cut into segments. When a sheet is immersed in water, the printed pattern transfer separates from the sheet and can now be applied to the surface of earthenware. After the article is dewatered and dried, it is baked in an oven at approx 800 degrees Celsius
